DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Administrative Officer 1, you will tasked with overseeing the coordination of work performed by the employees assigned to process applications for the physician professions, as well as assisting with the work of staff reporting to the Clerical Supervisor 2. You will have the opportunity to serve as a resource for board-related information regarding the Medical Board and perform duties for special projects involving unit activities. This position is responsible for developing and conducting training, assisting with hiring processes, as well as participating in discussions for licensing system improvement and development, and policy development. Lastly, you will work with the Medical Board Administrator to review proposals on the rules and regulations development process to determine impact on application review processes and staff operations.   • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the 6-month probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
