This position provides daily analytical and scheduling software management support for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Family and Community Medicine. This is a critical technical position within the departments. This position will manage Qgenda and Lightning Bolt software to ensure that faculty, fellows, residents and providers are accurately scheduled. Work closely with the Division Administrative Staff to implement SOPs related to time away, call and coverage for department activities. Work with clinic management and staff regarding space allocation ensuring the accuracy of clinic spacing and usage. Develop and input call schedules and wards schedules with faculty leaders. - Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a combination of experience, education and/or training.
- Experience working with computer software programs including, but not limited to: Windows, MS Office Suite, SQL, scheduling software (Qgenda/Lightning Bolt) and other data sharing software.
- Experience maintaining multiple schedules and calendars of faculty and/or staff simultaneously.
- Experience resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Experience working with space allocation and creating template schedules.
- Experience working with all levels of an organization including faculty, staff, leadership and clinic staff.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret data, policies and procedures and understand impact on operations.
- Possess excellent communication skills to independently compose correspondence, content, summaries in a comprehensive, organized manner.
- Skill to maintain confidentiality, discretion and composure, use independent judgement, handles sensitive information and difficult situations.
- Skill to organize and prioritize workload responsibilities while maintaining and meeting deadlines.

Department Overview The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a School of Medicine academic/clinical department of approximately 40 faculty members, 11 Volunteer Clinical Professors, 4 Staff Physicians, 9 Fellows, 30 Residents and approximately 76 staff members. The Department of Family and Community Medicine is a School of Medicine academic/clinical department of approximately 19 faculty members, 30 Volunteer Clinical Professors, 8 Staff Physicians, 47 Residents and approximately 40 staff members.
