We'd love to have you join us.Under the direct supervision of the Environmental ServicesDirector, manages and/or supervises ongoing internal administrative controls toensure management directives are achieved in order to maintain effective andefficient operations.Executes analytical reports and summaries containingoperational and administrative information targeting operating performanceimprovement practices. Manages timely identification, capture and communicationof pertinent information to the Director and Supervisors of EnvironmentalServices to enable individual responsibility and performance evaluation.Lead and participate in organizational performanceimprovement initiatives and provide recommendations for service enhancementsbased on analysis of operational data and customer feedback. Lead andfacilitate department and organizational community engagement activities suchas fundraising, etc.Provides administrative operational leadership and officemanagement in the daily functions of the Environmental Services Department andNeuropsychiatric Institute Environmental Services Department. Personnel dutiesinclude leading and managing the execution of corrective actions for allrepresented staff, managing, coaching and executing on all other confidentialand private sensitive actions e.g. LOAs, Payroll, etc.Salary Range: $76,200 - $158,800 / annuallyQualificationsThis position requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.The incumbent will be an expert in Microsoft Office suite as well as phone etiquette and grammatically correct correspondences.Skill in reading and interpreting collective bargain agreement, administrative guidelines, general correspondence, job specification and job descriptions.Skill in writing concise, logical and grammatically correct correspondence and analytical reports.Skill in implementing and monitoring a quality control program sufficient to meet established specifications in the performance of maintenance and recharge work.Ability to organize information, material and people in a systematic way in order to optimize efficiency and minimize duplication of effort in the process of completing projects.Communication skills to effectively convey information on a one-on-one basis or in group settings to project managers; clinicians; support staff; and administration.Skill in analyzing information, problem situations, practices or procedures to:Define the problem or objectiveIdentify relevant concerns or factorsIdentify patterns, tendencies and relationshipsFormulate logical and objective conclusionsRecognize alternatives and their implicationsAbility to read, interpret and draw conclusion from information generated by computerized reporting systems, to monitor performance and identify treads and anomalies.Skill in mathematical computations sufficient to compile & analyze budget status and productivity reports.Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with peers, department, hospital and University personnel and the public.UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person's unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
