Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the CENTER OF NAVAL WARFARE STUDIES of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE. Responsibilities You will plan, develop, and execute the Dean's administrative management program. You will analyze and review documentation procedures and controls, files, directives, forms, records control and disposal procedures and office automation. You will coordinate work for contractor administrative support personnel. You will serve as the incentive awards administrator and point of contact for all awards nominations You will serve as a liaison between the Human Resources Office (HRO) and Military Personnel in all areas pertaining to civilian and military personnel management, and manpower utilization. You will advise leadership on all fiscal and contractual issues, including preparing supporting data/material for funding requests and justifications for submission to applicable installations and/or activities. You will develop statements-of-work, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and other written materials as necessary to support advertisement and contract award. You will assure credit card holders adhere to all established rules and regulations governing the use of government credit cards to include Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitor progress by providing oversight of conferences/events; 2) Analyze records control and disposal procedures to ensure compliance with records management policies and procedures; 3) Monitor contractor performance with respect to resources, contract data, and quality control; and 4) Track correspondence in accordance with administrative policies and procedures.
