DutiesThe following are the duties of this position at the GS-09. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.As an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, you will:
- Serve as Administrative Officer and administrative advisor to the Field Support Officer and field staff, with responsibility for performing, providing, obtaining, and/or advising and interpreting policy and procedures on a variety of management services.
- Advise and assist management to coordinate all budgetary and financial activity for Chicago's field operations.
- Maintain financial control and ensure the integrity of budget activity throughout the field.
- Coordinate all human resources processes and procedures within the field, and coordinate those activities with other areas of NARA.
- Serve as the regional accounting resource and participate in all contracting and procurement activities.
