**Job Description**

Administrative & Records Assistant

Hiring Range: $24.92/hr to $31.15/hr for a 35 hour work week. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.

The Administrative & Records Assistant will work as part of a team to provide administrative support for the Morrissey College Academic Advising Center (including Pre-health advising) and the Undergraduate Associate Deans.

The team of Administrative & Records Assistants will handle all administrative support for the department. The team will be the first point of contact to all callers and visitors in the office and will be responsible for routing all incoming requests and inquiries. This team also is the liaison to the Universities office of Student Services.

Additionally, the Administrative & Records Assistant will

+ Work with the Morrissey College Dean's office to plan and coordinate special school-wide events.

+ General correspondence, information, and reception; including phone, email, and walk-in traffic (students, faculty, prospects, visitors)

+ Arrange various meetings for deans (locations, times, guests, materials, etc.)

+ Act as a resource for students navigating forms related to student academic status, i.e., override, overload, transfer, study abroad, course withdrawal, course substitution, Leave of Absence, University Suspension, etc.

+ Maintain paperwork and student files (electronic and hard copy)

**Requirements**

+ Three years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a higher education setting.

+ Excellent customer service orientation, excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, good decision making/problem-solving skills.

+ Strong computer skills and the ability to acquire new technology skills as required by the position.

+ Occasional evening or weekend attendance at events may be required a few times per year.
