SALARY: The salary range for this position is $57,644.00 to $93,495.46 for Schedule A, and $57,644.00 to $88,820.70 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Under the direction of the Human Resources Division Manager and the Assistant Human Resources Division Manager, the selected individual should be a self-motivated team player who can work independently, is extremely detail oriented, organized, have strong technical, problem-solving, and superior computer skills, including MS Office Suite. The preferred candidate must be a team player who demonstrates the ability to deliver a high degree of competency in customer service, ability to generate and analyze reports, demonstrate mathematical reasoning, goal orientation, exceptional writing, and communication skills, and be able to plan and implement special projects independently. The incumbent must have the ability to adapt to change and adjust to multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment to produce optimal outcomes. The selected candidate will be responsible for training and coordinating the work activities of divisional staff and will act as a lead worker and expert user within the division. Further, the incumbent must have knowledge of human resources practices, federal, state, and local government regulations and possess the ability to interpret Judiciary policies, procedures, regulations, laws, and bargaining unit agreements and accurately communicate this information to management and staff. - The selected candidate may be responsible for performing general human resources functions in the following areas: recruitment and selection, leave and benefit management, payroll processing, database integrity, classification and compensation, position control, processing accurate transactions and utilizing various HR information systems, auditing, and processing the timekeeping system.
- Responsible for assisting in the collection of materials and documents related to employee discipline and grievance issues and be familiar with the discipline and grievance processes.
- Administer/coordinate programs in accordance with Judiciary policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze statistical reports.
- Assist in developing procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage and ensure integrity of the organization's employee database.

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and three years of professional experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, salary administration, classification, labor/employee relations, training, selection/recruitment and/or Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action. Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.
