SALARY: The salary range for this position is $57,644.00 to $93,495.46 for Schedule A, and $57,644.00 to $88,820.70 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. The New Jersey Judiciary Probation Services Division, Child Support Enforcement Unit, is seeking an administrative professional with excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Under the direction of an Administrative Supervisor, or other supervisory personnel, the selected individual will be assigned as a liaison to vicinage probation child support offices. REMOTE WORK : The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access. Example of Duties This position includes traveling to vicinage locations multiple days a week throughout the state. Apply relevant child support policies, procedures, statutes, and court rules and provide on-site support and guidance to vicinage. Analyze vicinage performance by using NJKiDS computer system and related reports. Work with local child support staff by reviewing activities as they relate to performance measures and enforcement methods and provide feedback regarding areas of improvement, or where performance can be enhanced. Assist in the formulation and dissemination of training and resources that are needed. Possess the ability to work independently as well as be able to work as a member of the team unit. Function as a subject matter expert and provide support and assistance in the implementation of any new policy and procedures along with other duties as assigned. Provide technical assistance with the automated system, NJKiDS, as it relates to case processing and enforcement. Assist the local offices with audits and partnership meetings. Assist county staff with implementation of AOC, DFD, federal and state government initiatives and changes. This entails planning, training, implementation, clean-up efforts, and ongoing support necessary because of these initiatives. Provide feedback to AOC management, committees, and other user groups about issues identified, along with possible recommendations for resolution. Although this position is located in the Administrative Office of the Courts (Trenton, NJ), travel to other Judiciary locations may be required. Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience in program development, program coordination, program analysis, program administration and/or administrative research. Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience. A law degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Education Note: Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service.
