The main duties of this position include Processing e-procurement requests for the Administrative Section, Community & Engagement Section, Director's Office, Education, and Finance. Support all administrative functions of the above sections including AIHC and AACC festival reporting and support. The person in this position must have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication and customer service skills to work effectively with people. The person must have the ability to pay close attention to detail, have planning and organizational skills, along with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide administrative support to the Administrative Section, Community & Engagement Section, Director's Office, Education and Finance.
  • Provide administrative support for the two major festivals.
  • Arrange meetings for planning committees, take minutes at the meetings and distribute those minutes.
  • Manage invoice payments, receipts from events, and monitor budgets for each section.
  • Multi-task and work under stringent deadlines.
  • Work as a member of a team to accomplish the objectives of the organization.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures that are relevant to State purchasing.
Position/Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects with or without accommodation.
