Ozarka College in Melbourne is seeking qualified applicants for an Administrative Specialist III for the Mountain View campus. The Administrative Specialist III for the Mountain View campus, acting under the direction of Direct of Campus Operations Mountain View, is responsible for providing current and prospective students with quality support services to help them meet their education goals. Working collaboratively with Director of Campus Operations Mountain View, and the other student support staff, the Administrative Specialist III provides guidance to enhance the quality of Ozarka College. The Administrative Specialist III is a twelve-month position. Position Specific:The Administrative Specialist III will
- be responsible for providing friendly and helpful assistance to current and prospective students as well as visitors both in person and by phone.
- understand the admissions process and collect and process admissions documents including health records, transcripts and placement scores following FERPA.
- administer the Accuplacer placement exam and proctor tests for faculty.
- enter and update student data and records and post payments in students' electronic accounts (SONIS).
- work independently as well as in a team approach with staff and faculty in an efficient manner.
- assist students with myOzarka set-up, FSAID set up and FAFSA applications.
- open and close campus as needed.
- answer questions about academic programs and schedule offerings.
- understand Student Services programs and refer students to them
- possess a strong commitment to helping students navigate through the college experience.
- be fluent with Word and Excel programs.
- maintain professional etiquette, attitude, conduct, and appearance.
- represent Ozarka College in a professional positive and professional manner.
- assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Campus Operations Mountain View.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education equivalent of a high school diploma plus one year clerical experience.
- Computer skills in basic office software such as word processing, spreadsheets, email, and student data systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and use good organizational skills to take initiative and coordinate daily workload.
- Proven interpersonal skills both written and verbal to promote understanding, respect for others, and clear articulation of the college mission.
- Commitment to personal integrity in all working relationships with others.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the responsibilities and skill required to fulfill the position responsibilities.
