Responsibilities You will serve as a a Logistics Management Specialist position within the NIWC Atlantic material management competency. You will perform all essential tasks to accomplish material management and distribution operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulations, policies and other applicable requirements. You will ensure all Key Supporting Documentation (KSD) are submitted to the transaction records in a timely and effective manner to maintain FIAR compliance. You will provide excellent customer support by effectively communicating with all internal and external stakeholders and promptly assisting and responding to all inquiries. You will be responsible for performing causative research and corrective actions for material discrepancies in both Navy ERP and CMPRO while also participating in inventories and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in standard supply regulations, policies, and procedures, audit and warehouse material inspection compliance programs, MHE equipment, and effective customer support strategies. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education This position allows for substitution of education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
