  • Plan and accomplish special projects or assignments.
  • Research, compile, and summarize cost date in the formulation of the annual budget estimates.
  • Support procurement / contracting work and/or provides general administrative support related to office supplies, office property, or office moves/modifications.
  • Review cash award requests for completeness and compliance with policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Supervise property management and functions as the property custodian.
  • Coordinate many activities of the Laboratory/Branch/Office with the Division Director's Office.
  • Make travel arrangements for supervisor and staff, including preparing travel orders and vouchers and professional services contracts.
  • Coordinate the timely filing of annual and quarterly reports.
Requirements Conditions of Employment
  • U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

QualificationsTo qualify at the GS-09, you must meet one of the following:A. Have completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D., if related.ORB. Have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: monitoring internal budget data; participating in the formulation of annual operating budgets; reconciling expenditures against allocated funding; serving as a purchase card holder; reviewing requisitions to determine that proper specifications or purchase descriptions are included in solicitation documents; participating with higher graded staff in the procurement of technical items.ORC.
