Job Details The Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Administrative Support Associate works under the direction of the department Director and Outpatient Office (Billing) Coordinator is responsible for: Responsibilities: Front desk reception, providing exceptional customer service. Answers phone calls in appropriate manner- transferring, accurately taking messages and use of intercom. Collects co-pays and balance cash drawer Schedules patients and monitors clinicians caseloads Ensures timely and accurate registration of new patients in EPIC, including completion of all required registration fields, entering comments in referrals, attaching referrals to appointments and scanning required documents. Insurance verification Performs facility tasks daily- monitor equipment logs/supply inventory and ordering/light housekeeping/linen Works with interdisciplinary therapy team Assists with routine operations of the department Requirements: HS Diploma/GED required Strong computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel Previous healthcare setting experience preferred Strong desire to work in a busy and challenging environment Customer service skills required- In person and telephone Strong organizational skills to prioritize and completed assigned tasks is required Motivated and detail oriented Self-directed with ability to work independently Strong interpersonal and communication skills required Ability to comply with all regulatory standards Salary Range USD $21.71 - USD $27.14 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
