PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Performs a wide variety of administrative support and bookkeeping functions to include customer service, billing, and inventory controls.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Records transactions within 24 hours of inventory leaving the facility in Agvance
Assist sales staff in setup and maintenance of the Grower, Farm, Field, And Boundary within the Agvance platform
Enter and maintain customer contracts in accordance with company policy
Apply customer payments on account in a timely and accurate manner
Assist with inventory cycle counts and research any findings
Run and review reports on a regular basis to assist both sales and management staff
Ability to learn and utilize accounting software (Agvance) and adapt to ongoing changes that increase operational efficiencies
Communicates with customers and management staff via telephone or in person. Answers questions, research discrepancies, and disseminates information when necessary to appropriate personnel.
Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems, personal computers and computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Office).
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for enhancing positive company image through equipment, vehicles, personal attire, actions and activities
Maintains hard copy and electronic filing system
Ensure cleanliness of office space
Help prepare for meetings to include ordering meals as needed
Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested
May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
Performs all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires an Associate's degree (A.A.), or the equivalent thereof, and 1 - 3 years or more of clerical related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, customer service, and ability to multi-task.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
May be required to work extended hours beyond those considered normal to meet seasonal demands.
Work is conducted mainly in a typical office environment, with slight exposure to other warehousing or storage facilities with generally satisfactory conditions, sometimes in a noisy, open area while interacting with team members and serving customer's needs.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
