The compensation for this appointment will range from $26.50 to $31.25 hourly and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this staff appointment. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
Position Summary Information
Summary
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing invoices for technology purchases, maintaining department budget and cost center spreadsheets, and coordinating Active Directory account provisioning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned.
* Provides clerical and accounting support for the Associate Vice President of Technology.
* Oversees account provisioning and de-provisioning for new and changing staff and faculty.
* Provides technical support for the employment application and talent management software, PeopleAdmin.
* Assists with maintaining accurate Active Directory information.
* Processes student email account changes.
* Assists with Office365 email account administration.
* Manages billing and records for telecommunications services.
* Assists with ordering and auditing telecommunications services.
* Provides support for campus-wide technology procurement process by reviewing invoices for accuracy, submitting invoices for payment in a timely manner and interfacing with staff and vendors to resolve billing inaccuracies.
* Assists with registration and travel arrangements for conferences.
* Assists with maintaining file system for department records.
* Assists with specific projects as assigned.
* Assists with preparation and maintenance of database and spreadsheet files such as financial statements and budgets.
* Coordinates travel and meetings as needed.
* Maintains department office supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position could be responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to part-time Student Workers, in order to complete office work assignments.

* Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
* Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
* Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
Education and/or Experience
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a fast-paced IT environment.
