The Administrative Technician coordinates and manages the overall office and administrative aspects of the First-Year Initiative Grant and Thompson Learning Community (TLC). This includes but is not limited to managing multiple office functions including front desk support, basic grant communication for TLC team members, faculty, campus partners, and students via email, phone, text, and social media. The Administrative Technician will also support the budget process, management of student databases, and behind-the-scenes project management. The Administrative Technician will support the grant leadership team in areas such as coordinating meeting times and locations, data entry, bill payments, and personnel processing.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience Required License/Certification Required Additional Qualifications: Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with learning communities, grants, and software programs such as Peoplesoft, and WebFocus.
