**Job Summary:**

The Office of Medical Education at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University seeks a full-time Administrator for Clinical Skill Delivery. The successful candidate will:

* Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Clinical Skills teaching within the medical program, in conjunction with the Associate Dean of Clinical Competencies, Foundations 1 & 2 Leadership, and the Assessment (ASTRA) team.

* Coordinate the administrative aspects of Clinical Skills assessments in conjunction with the ASTRA team: manage all clinical skills sessions, clinical examiners, simulated patients, teaching associates, and patient volunteers; coordinate with Managing the payment of simulated patients, patient volunteers, and guests.

* To assist with the development and coordination of clinical skills informational materials and guides for distribution to faculty and students: proofread draft materials for grammar, punctuation, and spelling; format documents and prepare them for printing; manage all interactions with an external vendor for printing and delivery of informational materials; follow-up to ensure that Clinical Skills Liaisons have delivered the appropriate materials to sessions.

* Manage all cross-training materials related to Clinical Skills delivery for members of the Logistics Team; create and maintain training checklists and activity follow-up documents; advise and coordinate the training of all team members supporting Clinical Skills projects and activities.

* To ensure appropriate, efficient, and comprehensive administrative support in all areas of Clinical Skills activity. Liaise with other University elements, including academic and administrative staff. Contribute towards the smooth and effective operation of the Integrated Pathways Curriculum; establish and maintain spreadsheets to ensure that all students are in the correct places and ensure that faculty and other training personnel and resources are available and on time for all clinical activities.

* Liaise between the Office of Education Leadership Team, faculty, and students to ensure that Leadership and faculty are made aware of all students issues; communicate with students and faculty to provide valuable, timely, and accurate information; communicate with students and faculty in person, by telephone, and via email.

* Manage the administrative aspects of Units 1 & 6, communicating with faculty and students daily; managing Blackboard; preparing student materials for Leo (Learning Management Software); and participating in assessments as needed.

* Coordinate OSCEs (Observed Structured Clinical Exams) for Units 1-6; preparing checklists, arranging and coordinating meetings to discuss various components and execution.

* Participate in Faculty recruitment, coordination, and assignments for assessments and grading.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree (or equivalent)

* Current experience; a minimum of three years in student services or a related area at the university/ college level required.
