Accessible Space, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Admission Specialist to join our team at our Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) in Las Vegas, NV.
In this role, the Admission Specialist will secure authorization for services from insurance carriers, verify benefits and coordinate admission in order to ensure appropriate clients are received and funding is secured.
Qualifications:
- Must have successful experience in a high-paced environment and a demonstrated proficiency in insurance authorization processes and functions.
- A minimum of one year of administrative experience in a health care/human services or medical/rehab office role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone.
- Proficiency in MS Word and its applications, and a working knowledge of Excel and its applications.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Education and/or experience in a healthcare related field and experience with electronic medical records systems a plus.
- Education and/or experience in a related field or working in day treatment and/or residential programs for individuals with traumatic brain injury or experience in Brain Injury Rehabilitation strongly preferred.
