This position will provide accurate information regarding admission to Burrell College's medical program while traveling to recruitment events and on campus. The position also receives and evaluates application materials, provides recommendations for applicant interview invitations, and coordinates communications and interactions between the college and applicants. The Admissions Advisor/Recruiter must possess positive, high energy, exceptional communication skills, creativity, and enthusiasm for an educational environment. - The Admissions Advisor/Recruiter reports to the Director of Admissions
- This is a hybrid remote position requiring the candidate to live within commuting distance for assigned in-office days and in-office/event work.
- The salary for this position is $48,000 depending on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist the Admissions department in coordinating, planning, participating in, and promoting special admission on-campus events including tours, applicant information sessions, and applicant retention activities.
- Evaluate incoming applications to Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Track and conduct follow-up efforts to ensure all required application materials are received.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Admissions application processes, software, and database.
- Collaborate with Enrollment Services departments to validate admission/enrollment materials needed for prospective and current students.
- Independently represent Burrell at off-site locations such as colleges, conferences, and any other travel-related initiatives.
- Compile comprehensive travel reports/statistics/admissions data.
- Conduct large group and school tours and presentations both in person and virtually.
- Develop, organize, and facilitate Admissions presentations for prospective students and visitors.
- Independently articulate the Burrell College mission to a variety of publics- acting as a liaison between Burrell and college counselors and advisors, students, parents, corporations, and/or government representatives.
- Serve as a member of the Admissions team and manage a recruitment territory and/or population; contact, visit and inform prospective medical school applicants and health profession advisors about admission to Burrell College.
- Complete routine reports related to recruitment, projections, conversions, personal schedules, travel, special programs, and/or expense reports.
- Maintain current knowledge of Burrell's academic, social, extra-curricular, residential options, and financial aid programs, and communicates this information to prospective students.
- Maintain a high volume of communication via email, traditional mail, social media, and phone calls with prospective applicants of the college to establish a productive rapport between the applicant and Burrell.
- Maintain up-to-date travel records of all invited and attended recruitment events; provides reports as requested by the Associate Director of Admissions
- Attend and participate in admissions staff meetings.
- During peak travel seasons, work on periodic weekends, and evenings, and travels locally and out of state.
- Encourage a healthy and productive relationship between Admissions and other Burrell offices.

Minimal Qualifications & Experience:An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Preferences:- Experience with AMP or similar Admissions management systems.
- Experience working with students in an admissions-related environment.
- Experience/ability in giving presentations to large groups.
- Experience/ability to give tours.
