Job Description:

Berkeley College, a career-focused institution of higher education, with locations in Woodland Park, Newark, Woodbridge, NJ and Online, is seeking full-time Admission Associates to work on-site. Admissions Associates guide and help prospective students throughout the enrollment process. Additional responsibilities include recruiting and interviewing prospects, providing campus tours, community outreach, and extensive phone work. Responsibilities

  • Create awareness to potential students.
  • Tour and interview prospective students.
  • Initialize and follow-up on students' financial aid process.
  • Schedule entrance exam, financial aid planning sessions, registration and orientation.
  • Responsible for student document procurement.
  • Develop relationships with High Schools, College and community personnel,
  • Manage and update student records.
  • Responsible for proper reporting on outreach efforts.
  • Responsible for attending team meetings.
  • Receptive to continuous training in product knowledge and to ensure the dissemination of updated and accurate information.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 Job Location
  • Onsite with one (1) day remote
  • Evenings and Saturdays required
  • Travel as needed across NJ Campus locations
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Training and/or Experience
  • Must have previous customer service experience along with the ability to work in high performance standard, driven and team-oriented environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must have extensive follow up skills and the ability to multitask and meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse student populations.
  • Strong communication, phone and computer skills are required along with the ability to work inside and outside during seasonal times.
  • Proficient in using databases, Microsoft Office, and Google products.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, and LinkedIn are helpful.
