Responsibilities Position Summary The Admissions Consultant will play a critical role in enhancing the admissions process at Compass Intervention Center. This position is focused on creating, implementing, and optimizing efficient systems and processes to improve the patient intake experience. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, data-driven professional with a strong background in process improvement and project management in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities
- Process Development: Design and implement streamlined admissions processes to reduce wait times and improve patient experience, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Efficiency Optimization: Identify and analyze bottlenecks in the admissions process, recommending and implementing changes to enhance overall department efficiency.
- System Implementation: Evaluate and integrate appropriate software tools to support a more cohesive and automated admissions workflow, ensuring alignment with hospital-wide systems.
- Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and report on admissions data to track performance metrics, patient outcomes, and overall department efficiency. Use insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Staff Training: Collaborate with the admissions team to develop and deliver training materials, ensuring all staff are knowledgeable on new processes and systems.
- Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between the admissions department, clinical teams, and administrative staff to maintain a seamless admissions experience for patients.
- Quality Assurance: Regularly audit admissions procedures to ensure compliance with all hospital policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed documentation for all processes and changes within admissions, generating regular reports on departmental efficiency and areas for improvement.
Qualifications Job RequirementsEducation: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required.Experience: 5 years experience in psychiatric treatment programs, including experience in intake/admissions.License: Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC, LMSW, or LCSW, RN, LFMT license required.Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle with Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
