Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Medicare requirements and insurance providers
- Familiarity with EMR software systems
- Understanding of CMS guidelines and DOH regulations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred: Established relationships with local hospitals
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate seamless admissions by liaising with hospitals and referral resources
- Collaborate to address operational challenges impacting admissions
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance referrals and admissions
- Educate visitors on resident care protocols and policies
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with hospitals and community organizations
- Ensure accurate financial verification prior to admission
- Stay abreast of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement procedures
- Provide monthly statistical reports to the team
