Duties Include:
- Assess inquiries and respond to referrers as a priority
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate client flow
- Ensure an immediate response to phone, fax and walk- inquiries and referrals
- Coordinates tour, application, and sales process with customer, families and referrers
- Meet with client and families on day of admission. Facilitate an initial introduction to the nursing staff on the unit
- Communicate admission criteria to referral sources, clients and families
- Work with administrator and appropriate staff to ensure consistent, effective admission, discharge, and transfer meetings
- Maintain statistics indicating potential client flow, pending and lost inquiries, denials, hospital discharges, and marketing information
- Work to initiate, nurture, and maintain contact with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners
- Coordinate and participate in presentations about the facility to hospitals and physicians
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Ability to make great independent decisions
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Computer savvy - proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
