The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position SummaryReporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Counselor will work closely with the Admissions team and the Director of Admissions under the Office of Enrollment Management to uphold and strengthen the integrity of the admissions process from prospect/application through enrollment for the Mailman School of Public Health's growing set of offerings. The Admissions Counselor will meet and counsel prospective applicants in-person and/or virtually on the application process throughout the school year. Participate in and support events of the Office of Enrollment Management as needed. Schedule and maintain campus tours and class visits. Assist with representing the school by attending college fairs, community events and other events to promote the school. Assist with developing and maintaining relationships with college counselors, high school counselors, and other organizations. Track and correspond with prospective applicants, applicants, and newly admitted students via School Inbox on CRM (Slate) and other CRM platforms (Mainstay, Keystone).ResponsibilitiesMeet and advise prospective applicants and applicants via in-person and virtually - 30%Assist with corresponding to prospective applicants, applicants, and newly admitted students via School's Inbox on CRM (Slate, Mainstay, and Keystone) - 30%Schedule and maintain campus tour and class visits - 20%Assist and participate in all admissions and schoolwide events orchestrated by Office of Education - including domestic travel - 15%Other related duties as assigned - 5%Minimum QualificationsTwo (2) years' experience or bachelor's degree or equivalent in educationHigh level of organizational skills, creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to handle several projects simultaneously and under deadline.Excellent oral and written communication skills required.Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets required.
