Posting DetailsPosition Information Job Title Admissions Data Coordinator Nature of Work Assists students with admissions application and enrollment process. Maintains databases, prepares reports, and troubleshoots technical issues involving NeSIS and/or the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.Examples of Work Performed Essential Duties:1. Process admissions applications (on-campus and online) including entry of raw data, based on system or submission necessities. To exclude processing of international applications. Review applications for accuracy and enter punctuation, capitalization and spelling corrections as neededa. Utilize FileZilla and the reporting Dashboard to process and review daily applicationsb. Track and compile incoming admissions requirements through PeopleSoft checklists and comments assignment, monitoring, and processing.c. Assign, update and run Communication Generation, 3 C Engines, and Run Controls within PeopleSoft in regard to admissions communications.d. Determine when admission files are complete and ready for enrollment and final acceptance to transition to the enrollment or advising process.2. Personally assist prospective students, agents, parents, and high school counselors, scheduled and unscheduled visitors via phone, email, chat and through written correspondence.3. Coordinate and generate conditional and formal acceptance letters.4. Maintain student checklists and reports for missing items, follow up and recruitment.5. Matriculate and term activate applicants into the appropriate career/program/plan (CPP).6. Link, route and evaluate the receipt of transcripts within the ImageNow software for both current and incoming students.7. Maintain and monitor personal and other Admissions email accounts as assigned.8. Educate students regarding use of their MyCSC account for 24/7 self-service.9. Assist with the accuracy and updating of Admissions web page.10. Utilize the online National Student Clearinghouse as assigned.11. Verify applicant education history in conjunction with other student service offices to prevent misuse of Federal Financial Aid.12. Cross train and assist with other online admission application processes and maintenance.13. Participate and assist with on campus registration and admission events as assigned.14. Sustain and develop relationships throughout the campus to stay up to date on academic programs, policies and changes in coordination with the Assistant Director of Admissions.15. Assist on an as needed basis with support and aid of the CSC call center via phone or chat correspondence16. Participate in cross-functional and student services committees as delegated/nominated.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or related work experiencePreferred Qualifications Excellent customer service, computer, and organizational skillsClear and persuasive communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to multi-taskPrecise attention to detailExperience with admissions tracking softwareExperience with college admissions, marketing, or public relationsPhysical Demands The physical requirements for this position may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the ability to use a computer, calculator, telephone, keyboard, and/or various types of office equipment.
