Are you a dynamic, results-driven leader? we are actively seeking an exceptional Admissions Director to join our team! In this role, youll make an impactful difference by leading our admissions process, building community relationships, and fostering a welcoming environment for new residents.

About the Role:

As the Admissions Director, you will be essential in facilitating a seamless admissions experience, coordinating with family members, referral sources, and our interdisciplinary team. You will also work closely with our marketing team to grow our census and maintain a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Admissions Leadership: Engage with hospitals and referral sources to ensure smooth and timely admissions.
  • Collaborative Reporting: Monitor and report on admissions operations, working with administration and corporate teams to implement improvements.
  • Marketing & Community Outreach: Represent our facility at events to boost community relationships, reputation, and referral rates.
  • Visitor Guidance: Provide clear information on guest privileges and care procedures.
  • Financial Accuracy: Ensure comprehensive financial verifications are completed pre-admission and shared with relevant teams.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Stay updated on Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement processes.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong ties with local hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.
  • Data Analysis: Present monthly admissions statistics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Admissions within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of established relationships with CT hospitals.
  • Expertise in Insurance & Regulations: Proficiency in Medicare and knowledge of insurance providers, including PDPM and RUGS rules.
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with EMR software systems.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of CMS guidelines, DOH regulations, and insurance policies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
