The South College School of Physician Assistant Studies is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual for the position of Admissions Officer to join our campus in Asheville, NC. We are searching for a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. The Admissions Officer is stationed at the front desk. The PA program has administrative support, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.General Responsibilities:
- Guide school applicants through the application and admission process by helping them to assess their skills, education, and career goals.
- Provide prospective students with general information on registration, program selection, and academic requirements.
- Maintain application hard and electronic files.
- Manage, track, and update all applications.
- Schedule, invite, and track participants for interviews.
- Greet and direct guests as they enter the suite.
- Answer PA phone calls and assist with PA packages.
- Coordinate interview days, orientation, and other events.
- Participate in student admissions and committees as assigned.
- Work closely with the Physician Assistant Director of Operations on additional administrative items as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Prior experience in CASPA and higher education admissions preferred.
- Familiarity with academic and higher education aspects preferred.
Excellent customer service/sales, organizational, communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, in addition to proficiency in Microsoft Office, database, and software applications
