DescriptionAdmissions RepresentativeHondros College of NursingDayton, OHHondros is growing! Do you have a background in customer service and passion for the education industry? We are seeking an Admissions Representative to screening, interview and enroll prospective students. In this role the Admissions Representative will also guide students through the enrollment completion process.Responsibilities :Conduct personal interview to qualify prospective students and to explain the academic programs at Hondros College of NursingAdvise on requirements to meet Hondros College of Nursing's admissions requirementsAct in a liaison capacity with other campus departments to ensure that student enrollment is efficient and delivered with a high degree of customer servicesUnderstand and apply the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the admissions department and Hondros College of NursingUse all approved marketing and recruiting tools to educate prospective students about Hondros CollegeUse an active listening and consultative approach to create a value proposition aligning prospective student needs to the college and its offeringsCarefully assess all prospective students to ensure that they have the potential, traits, characteristics, and meet the admissions criteria to qualify for admission considerationComplete the applicant qualification process to determine student eligibility for admission by reviewing entrance examination scoresFully understand Hondros College of Nursing's financing sources to be able to convey basic program eligibility requirements; refers students to the financial aid department as appropriate to ensure the prospective student understands all financial optionsEnsure that satisfactory enrollment agreements are completed with each enrolled student in regards to proof of education, licensure, test scores, transferable courses and other enrollment variables that support students' enrollmentsParticipate as a team member of the campuses admissions department by understanding team dynamics, rules and principles; work diligently and willingly towards the department plan and objectivesParticipate and assist with on and off campus recruiting events; i.e. information sessions, college/career fairs, campus-based open houses and industry update meetingsRequirements :1-2 years experience in a customer service focused or sales oriented settingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to interact with a variety of individuals at various organizational levelsCapacity to identify and assess educational needs for prospective students and provide recommendationsConsistent ability to establish and meet deadlinesGeneral understanding and ability to interpret federal and state regulations to meet compliance needsA bachelor's degree is preferredAbout Us :Since 2006, Hondros College of Nursing has been graduating high-quality, work-ready nurses who enter the field with exceptional clinical, communication and collaborative skills.
