Job Description:
Seva Hospice is a locally owned and operated company of experienced hospice providers with a desire to serve the communities we live and work in. We are looking for a Admissions Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team, serving San Joaquin, Merced and Stanislaus Counties to provide care and support to terminally ill patients. This position is full time Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00am - 8:00pm.In this position, you will guide patients and families through the hospice assessment and admissions processes and play a pivotal role in the educational process for patients, families and caregiver. Your presence and services should bring comfort to the person who faces the end of their lives and help them reach acceptance and peace of mind. For this role, you need to be a registered nurse who sees the value of hospice care in alleviating pain and suffering. A compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills will make you a good candidate for this position. We expect you to be knowledgeable in caring for the terminally ill, providing expert symptom management and providing emotional support.
