  • Day 8-hour shifts
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and supervising nursing services to ensure high-quality care is delivered to all residents.
  • Conduct and monitor daily rounds to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Oversee care planning, staff assignments, and resident assessments.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures that align with facility goals and standards.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including care plans, incident reports, and training records.
  • Participate in regulatory surveys and ensure facility compliance with safety, infection control, and patient care standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, budgeting for nursing department needs, and resource allocation.
  • Act as Director of Nursing in their absence and provide 24-hour on-call support when necessary.
  • Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Delaware required.
  • Completion of a Registered Nurse program; minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a passion for maintaining high standards of care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
