The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in student counseling, career counseling or related field. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and time management /scheduling skills required. Two years of experience in providing student services preferred. Responsibilities are and not limited to developing a written plan and checklist based on the student's preferred career pathway. Assists with student intake and orientation,assessment analysis, and goal setting. Helps students build community support networks for support and accountability. Assists in marketing and recruitment activities. Instructors must score a score within NRS Level 6 on the TABE 11/12 within 3 months of hire. A degree in education or a content-related field is preferred.
