- Provide clerical assistance for the Adult Education Program.
- Assist with management of the Adult Education office.
- Explain program offerings to prospective students and guide them accordingly.
- Collect and organize monthly time and effort reports from all full-time and part-time faculty/staff.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets.
- Assist with preparation of the budgets.
- Assist with program purchases and maintaining inventory.
- Assist with student follow-up/tracking on separated students.
- Assist with adult learner satisfaction surveys.
- Assist with fostering local community support for the program.
- Assist with Alabama Adult Education System for Accountability and Performance (AAESAP) data entry.
- Compile monthly overall program and individual class/learner performance reports.
- Assist with preparation for all adult education functions (such as local trainings and annual graduation ceremony).
- Assist with preparing program performance reports monthly, quarterly, and/or annually required by the Alabama Community College System Adult Education Division.
- Attend all adult education local and state-wide professional development opportunities as deemed necessary for job performance.
- Comply with all policies and procedures of the Alabama Community College System and Northwest Shoals Community College.
- Work a flexible schedule as needed.
Qualifications
- One (1) year (32 semester hours) of postsecondary education in related coursework from a regionally accredited institution, required.
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, preferred
