What can I expect as a Resident Assistant?

Ability to eat meals with the individuals served during mealtimes.

Responsibilities:
- Actively create opportunities throughout the day to support individuals served in achieving their goals.
- Adhere to the person-centered plans, and behavior plans as written for each individual served.
- Provide quality of care in a safe and healthy setting, free from harm, while upholding the rights of all individuals served.
- Create a space of trust and relationship with all individuals served.
- Prepare and cook meals according to specific dietary requirements, food plans, and documentation for individuals served.
- Transport individuals served and attend appointments, advocate, and obtain necessary documentation, when needed.
- Assist with supervision of individuals served doing their laundry and complete facility laundry as needed.
- Administer medications to individuals served as needed.
- Must remain awake and immediately accessible in all homes requiring 24/7 care.
What Makes our Home Managers Different?
Our Home Managers are responsible for overseeing their residents, staff, and house duties with the desire for a smooth operation at the forefront of their mind! Additional duties our house leads encompass include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling for their house.
- Working as a Resident Assistant and being on-call 3 nights per week including e/o weekend according to scheduling assistance needed at their home.
- Grocery shopping, and creation of menu and activity calendars.
- General house maintenance, including creation of deep cleaning schedules, upkeeping established house budget and resident funds, and communicating with the Management Team regarding house or vehicle maintenance issues.
- Bringing forth a positive, hard-working, and caring attitude to their house!
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid, active state of Wisconsin Driver's License.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work in a timely manor.
- Must be able to work every other weekend.
- Must have strong charisma and communication techniques.
- Experience in related field is required.
- Have the ability to pass a background check.
Pay Range:USD $16.50 - USD $18.50 /Hr.Shift and Schedule:1 - 1st Shift, 4 - 2nd ShiftSchedule:1st shift full-time Home Manager: 7am-3pm, including every other weekend2nd shift full-time Home Manager: 3pm-11pm, including every other weekend*Our Home Managers must have the ability to work any shift*
