Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with severe mental illnesses and potential co-occurring substance use disorders, promoting their independence and reducing hospital admissions. You will provide personalized services, training in independent living skills, crisis intervention, advocacy, and supportive counseling in a residential mental health setting.By closely monitoring and documenting client progress, you will help achieve the broader goals of improving community placement and supporting substance use disorder recovery. Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking mental health support.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORTo thrive in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling), be registered as a QMHP-A with the Board of Counseling, and have at least one year of experience working with adults with serious mental illness or emotional impairments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll be providing behavioral health services and counseling to those in need. The ability to collaborate within a team, show empathy, and adapt to diverse needs and situations are critical for success in this fulfilling role.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (such as: Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling)
  • Registered with the Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A
  • At least one year of experience providing behavioral health services to adults with serious mental illness or emotional impairments.
