ResponsibilitiesExciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic, collaborative care team, responsible for the care of med/surg patients across 12 diverse units. This position is a great opportunity to work in a service-wide position, supporting all units, while gaining expertise with a variety of patient populations. This dynamic position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication and organizational skills. Extensive orientation provided, new grads welcomed. New Graduates (Level 1) are eligible for the med/surg Residency Program. The residency program is designed to assist the novice graduate nurse to successfully transition to a competent professional nurse. Nurse must have less than one year prior experience in acute care and plan for a two year commitment upon program completion.**Qualifications** Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.
