If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!EICAP is seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Protection Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults, and implementing supportive and/or emergency services necessary to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm.As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a human services field or law enforcement, and at least 2 years of experience working with vulnerable adults. If you are currently working towards your degree, we may also consider your application with approval from the Idaho Commission on Aging.Your responsibilities will include investigating Adult Protection referrals, completing comprehensive assessments, developing supportive service plans, and making appropriate referrals to legal authorities when necessary. You will also need to appear in court hearings or proceedings as required, and assist with public relation activities to inform the public, community agencies, organizations, and medical community of adult protection services.To succeed in this role, you must be a team player who can conduct yourself in a professional and cooperative manner with clients, co-workers, and other agencies or organizations. - Wage $19 to $20.64 per hour, depending on experience
