Our services span from initial planning and investment, through start-up and operations.The Advanced Analytics Associate will focus on applying advanced analytics and data science to enhance financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive initiatives across FP&A, Corporate Planning, and our Global Business Units. The ideal candidate will combine a solid foundation in finance with advanced analytical capabilities to deliver actionable insights that support leadership to make data-driven decisions.Major Responsibilities:Advanced Analytics Development:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced financial analytics solutions, including predictive modeling, scenario analyses, and AI/machine learning techniques.
- Build and maintain financial data models and decision-support tools using Power BI, Excel, and other advanced analytics platforms, driving insights into profitability, budgeting, and financial performance.
- Leverage advanced analytics to diagnose and address financial operations and planning challenges, such as cash flow forecasting, financial planning, and analyzing operational data for strategic improvements.
- Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to enhance financial planning and forecasting processes, generating actionable insights and creating models to guide strategic decision making.
- Identify opportunities to use advanced analytics to uncover insights that shape organization's goals and strategic direction.
- Develop self-service analytics resources to enable teams to independently explore business performance and risk factors.Collaboration and Integration:
- Partner with Corporate Planning and cross-functional stakeholders to develop advanced analytics solutions and deliver actionable insights aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the FP&A reporting team to integrate advanced analytics into recurring financial reports and improve reporting automation.
- Work with data scientists and other technical teams to explore innovative approaches for leveraging data in financial forecasting, risk analysis, and decision making.Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong foundation in finance with demonstrated expertise in data science, statistics, as well as data and financial modeling.
- Proficient with Power BI and Excel; familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.
- Proven ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into actionable insights for finance and business stakeholders.
