Essential Job Duties:
- Partner with Atria physicians to provide exceptional care to our members in the comfort of their homes
- Works collaboratively with CMOs to provide urgent home care services and preventive care services (e.g. phlebotomy, iv infusion, assisting in well child visits) for members in Westchester and greenwich with direct and indirect supervision for urgent Home Care visits.
- NPs & PAs must have the ability to work fluidly and competently across multiple disciplines, including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, urgent Care for cross coverage and to meet operational needs of the Institute to cover staff for illness, personal leave, vacation or continuing medical education
- Preferred have urgent care, primary care or family medicine experience, comfortable treating both pediatric and adult populations
- Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of Point of Care Testing modalities and devices. Ability to perform point of care testing, like strep, covid, flu, RSV.
- Flexibility to perform clinical, administrative and clerical tasks outside routine scope of practice.
- Providing Home Care Services for minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, wound care, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
- Blood draws and IV insertion expected to be regular, must be proficient in these skills
- Maintaining medical supply inventory out of the home services center, including ordering and restocking necessary supplies for patient visits.
- Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for members
- Telehealth visits & Electronic prescribing of medications as needed
- EMR data integration
- Opportunities for Growth & Development through involvement in various initiatives such as committees for Quality & Patient Safety, Protocol & Procedure Development and Review Processes
- Maintains a high quality workforce to assist in the achievement of the Organization's Mission.
- Maintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentials
- Participates in appropriate continuing medical education programs for maintenance of Continued Medical Education and CUEs for professional licensure

Requirements
- Current License required as NP/PA
- 2+ years' experience as practicing NP or PA
- ACLS, PALS and BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Capable and experienced with relevant procedures for proficiency in delivering care in urgent care and emergency medicine setting
