CWC Textron, is a safety conscious foundry located in Western Michigan. We are looking for an Advanced Electrician starting at $48.00 for candidates that meet the criteria for this position. We report into Kautex, a subsidiary of Textron Inc., which is a global company with over 30 plants in 13 countries. Our products are plastic fuel enclosures for vehicles, hybrid vehicle applications and smart products like battery enclosures for use in hybrid and full battery electric vehicle applications, and autonomous vehicle cleaning systems. We maintain a sharp focus on thriving in the current business environment with our CWC facility serving as a leader in the production of iron camshafts and metallurgy.Responsibilities Include:• Adhere to IATF16949 work instructions• Adhere to ISO14001 work instructions and training• Read and follow all job-related work instructions• Observe & follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees• Repair/rebuild electric motors (except rewinding stators and armatures)• Trouble shoot/repair induction furnaces, mold unit, hydraulic systems• Repair of Electric Overhead cranes and Hoists (Electrical and Mechanical, except welding)• Repair of Low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams• Must be able to make conduit runs and layout electrical cabinets Education: • High School Diploma or GED required• Master Electrician Certification or associate's degree in electrical or electronics or Industrial Electricity Certificate or Equivalent required Position Requirements: • Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in trade or Master Electrician License• Experience with low voltage & voltage controls up to 480 volts• Understand PLC controls• Knowledge of Electronic Instrumentation (E.G. Temperature Controllers, Chart Recorders, I/P and P/I Converters, Variable Frequency Drives, Etc.)• Demonstration of competency with various electrical testing procedures to include Megging Motor, Testing Sensors, Wire 3 phase motor, PLC- knowledge of input and out, and building a circuit to print• Experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx), PLC-5 and SLC500 hardware• Must have basic computer skills for work order entry and completion• Must be able to obtain a forklift, articulating boom lift and scissor lift licenses from company licensing program• Provide own tools (personal hand tools)• Lead projects and define appropriate work scope for improvements/repairs• Train/Mentor other electricians and apprentices
