Drive innovative design to delight customers and efficient processing architecture to enable maximum system uptime and timely, accurate processing of system functionality. And provide functional expertise on Advanced Manufacturing technology. This role will be located in Davidson, NC. A remote/hybrid option is a possibility for a highly qualified individual. Master's Degree is a plus.Provide Subject Matter Expertise and guidance for Business Partners, Enterprise Applications partners including Trane Technologies & third-party service partners. Act as an Advanced/Digital Manufacturing software applications solution architect and partner with Enterprise Applications and Enterprise Architecture for new solutions, upgrades to existing solutions and system improvements. Build strong relationships with the key functional leaders and vendors to align IT system operations delivery with business strategy. Research and source innovation ideas, explore with a focus on business benefit, customer delight and system efficiency/stability/sustainability. Oversee functional analysis for Advanced/Digital Manufacturing Technology projects and enhancements. Ensure adherence to standards for enhancements and projects, including functional design sign-off. Review and approve test plans Ensure compliance to policies in all IT solutions and processes for applications in scope. travel will be required, approximately 10-20% depending on project needs.This is a full time role that is onsite/hybrid in our Davidson NC office- the Full-time salary is $140,000 - $170,000 plus benefits/bonusRequired Skills:Experience with Advanced/Digital Manufacturing tools and technology (on-prem and/or SaaS).Experience with strategic road map execution, vendor management, and IT operations support.Advanced Manufacturing functional experience.Experience leading diverse, global teams either directly or indirectly.Experience partnering with business stakeholders.Experience managing or overseeing IT projects.Experience overseeing delivery of application support.Experience with business change with transformative technologies.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Computer Science (or similar discipline) an at least 7 years of work experience with Advanced/Digital Manufacturing tools and technology are required.Motivational thought leader, driven, and possesses strong business acumen, coupled with expert working knowledge of in-scope applications and associated components (infrastructure, middleware, data warehouse). Strong functional/configuration experience with Digital Factory application.Third-party management experience with strong knowledge of roles/responsibilities to drive maximum business benefit.Strong facilitation, negotiation and problem-solving skills applied across matrixed internal and external teams.Ability to assess current state application framework, assess business needs (current and future), and drive effective and efficient processing via the in-scope applications.Strong communications skills and a demonstrated ability to gather facts and deliver succinct, sometimes complex, messages to business stakeholders and IT partners.Nice to Have:Strong knowledge of PLM, MES and ERP integrations and processes.
