Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Material Handling Associate position that just opened in Orlando, FL. In this role you'll act as a team lead for group activities, cross-functional or Supply Chain communication and customer inquiries. Additionally, you'll analyze and act on data related to production rates data, review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements. To be considered, you will have a High School Diploma plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Location: Orlando, FL Position: Advanced Material Handling Associate Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct/permanent Pay: $25.69/hour Telecommute: Onsite Overview: As the Advanced Material Handling Associate, you'll act as a team lead for group activities, cross-functional or Supply Chain communication and customer inquiries Responsibilities:
  • Act as a team lead for group activities, cross-functional or Supply Chain communication and customer inquiries
  • Analyze and act on data related to production rates data, review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements
  • Communicate material control issues to department, identify material shortages, support problem solving resolutions and actively develop continuous improvement strategies
Requirements:
  • Requires a High School Diploma. Also requires 4+ years of job-related experience
  • Ability to handle and process classified material or oversee storage of customer property
  • Exceptional computer skills and knowledge of the enterprise software tools and associated data
  • Solid knowledge of material planning, control and inventory methodology and applies it to a wide range of tasks
Preferred Requirements:
  • Solid knowledge of program close-out activities
  • Solid knowledge of Government Customer Property Control
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
