The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is a dedicated professional with specialized expertise in patient care services, gained through clinical experience and advanced education at the masters or doctoral level. The APN is responsible for assessing and managing patients, ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, and implementing and evaluating care plans. Collaborating with the attending physician, primary nurse, and other healthcare providers, the APN provides family-centered care and contributes to the case management of patients with specialized health needs. Additionally, the APN is accountable for developing and applying practice standards and conducting research to enhance patient care quality.
This full-time position in the Pre-Admission Testing department at the Main Campus location offers a great work-life balance with no weekends or holidays.
