Overview
Responsibilities:
- Join an established Behavioral Health practice
- Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
- Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research.
- Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups.
- Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 7:30-6 pm. 1 night a week working to 6 pm.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
- PMHNP Certification
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in Behavioral Health or a related field required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
