Job Description:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Needs to have a background working with Submarine Testing experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

If you're looking for a challenge, you've just found it.As the Test Engineer, you'll participate in the planning of technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets and equipment required for the testing and evaluating of new launcher and propulsion systems for submarine platforms. Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you'll prepare test and diagnostic programs, coordinate across a multi-disciplinary engineering team, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development life cycle.

What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient knowledge and experience testing hardware onboard submarine platforms
  • Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions
