Position Summary:The Advanced Warehouse Operator provides essential system operational support, ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and availability of systems for end users.This role involves coaching and mentoring less experienced team members, performing routine maintenance, facilitating customization and changes, and ensuring system disaster recovery.The operator leads new employee technology setups, resolves complex issues, and performs preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks.Key Responsibilities:Provide system operational support to ensure optimal performance for end users.Coach and mentor less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.Perform routine maintenance and ensure system disaster recovery processes are in place.Facilitate customization and changes to existing systems as needed.Lead new employee technology setup, including computer setup, delivery, and system access.Resolve issues that are not readily apparent and perform authorized changes and upgrades to existing systems.Conduct complex root-cause analysis to identify and troubleshoot issues.Monitor system performance and accuracy, performing preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks.Document knowledge and solutions for organization-wide use.Required Qualifications:General warehouse experience, including familiarity with warehouse operations.Proven experience in picking parts efficiently and accurately.Ability to walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a mentoring or coaching role within a warehouse or operational environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform root-cause analysis effectively.Familiarity with IT systems and basic technical troubleshooting.
