Advancement Associate, UA Operations
The University of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified Advancement Associate to join the Operations team within University Advancement. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Operations Leadership team and the Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement Operations. The ideal candidate will be action-oriented, customer-focused, and possess strong interpersonal skills, thriving in a dynamic and fluid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and staff meetings and team events, ensuring seamless execution.
* Manage and coordinate schedules for key personnel.
* Schedule and coordinate travel arrangements for team members.
* Process travel and expense reimbursements efficiently and accurately.
* Perform data entry, create reports, and ensure data accuracy.
* Provide support and coordination for various administrative tasks and assigned projects.

Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* At least two years of experience providing administrative support in an office environment (intern or volunteer experience may qualify).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree.
* At least three years of administrative experience supporting high-level leaders.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience with CRM databases and marketing/event software (e.g., Advance, Marketing Cloud, Eventbrite).
Additional Skills:
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Ability to prioritize work and pivot quickly in response to shifting priorities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Collaborative nature with a strong orientation toward teamwork.
Work Environment:
* Onsite work required.

This is a non-exempt level, benefited position, which will remain open until filled. This position is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance. This position will not sponsor select applications for work visas. The anticipated Hiring Range: $45,000 - $50,000 and will be commensurate with education and experience.
UVA Advancement offers a flexible and hybrid workplace. All team members must have access to and maintain a secure home office environment with high-speed internet service and work collaboratively with others using a variety of technologies and tools. This hybrid position can be frequently worked remotely, although periodic in-person work in our office building, on UVA Grounds, or at event venues is required. The successful candidate will live within driving distance of Charlottesville, Virginia.
