With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Industry Manager to lead a team of sales professionals within Walmart's Home and Hardlines businesses which includes the Home, Home/Kitchen Appliances, Home Décor, Home Improvement, Automotive, Sporting Goods and Office Supplies categories. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for their clients and their team. They would have managed/scaled businesses in these verticals and have the capability to manage and motivate a high-performing team. Ideal candidates will have consistent management experience as well as extensive experience selling cross-network online marketing solutions such as search, display, video, social, CTV, and integrated sponsorship. Additionally, the candidate will have experience working within a matrix organization as well as experience in leading, coaching and influencing people. Candidates must have strong consultative sales skills with C-suite leaders, a collaborative and innovative spirit and be extremely comfortable dealing with ambiguity.Responsibilities:Be responsible for driving the future strategic direction of the businessPlay a critical role in building, inspiring, training and managing a talented, motivated, highly consultative sales and services teamStrong ability to forecast and efficiently allocate resources to drive profitable business resultsUnderstand our client's businesses and develop appropriate data driven solutions to meet their needsExecute projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research and strategy developmentWork collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive revenue growth with new and existing customers, be a point of escalation for any potential issuesConsult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of client needs across the businessBe seen as an industry leader in NYC, Chicago and/or San FranciscoEvangelize Walmart Connect with agencies, clients and at targeted events, conferences and media opportunitiesDeliver the highest level of customer service and present Walmart Connect's solutions in a compelling, positive and professional wayMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, advertising, or related area.12+ years hands on experience of building and capability to manage high performing teams7 years' experience in advertising sales, advertising, retail, ecommerce, or related area.4 years' experience leading teams.Demonstrated work history of consistently exceeding revenue targets.Strong understanding of the advertising technology, data and performance measurement trendsProven ability to forge relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands, agencies and API partnersAbility to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environmentAbility to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with a strong focus on collaborationSkilled storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brandsExceptional communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into client valueDemonstrable success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systemsProvide strong leadership with the ability to build, train, coach, and develop a high performing team including providing coaching and mentoring to other members of WMCPreferred Qualifications:Selling or executing paid search and/or retail media solutions.Solving complex problems, with a mindset toward scalability.Primary Location:221 River St, Hoboken, NJ 07030, United States of AmericaThe annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00.
