The Advocacy Specialist plays a crucial role in driving the political strategies of LSCU's three state and federal Political Action Committees (PACs), while organizing grassroots advocacy events. This position involves close collaboration with the Advocacy team to enhance the credit union movement by assisting both state and federal lobbyists with legislative efforts across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Key responsibilities include delivering presentations to credit unions that emphasize legislative priorities, the importance of PAC contributions, and the impact of electing key decision-makers. As the Advocacy Specialist, you will promote fundraising initiatives for PACs and other advocacy events that connect credit unions with lawmakers. Acting as a liaison between the Advocacy and Communication Team, you will ensure timely updates on legislative content, policy briefs, and fact sheets. Additionally, maintaining a grassroots database is essential for coordinating strategic campaigns and mobilizing calls to action. Qualifications:
