Key Responsibilities: Advocacy Support Intern In-person from World Vision's New York Office. World Vision Internships offer a three-month opportunity for talented students and recent graduates eager to dive into the international relief and development field.   • Advocate for Change: Contribute to our advocacy efforts at the United Nations and with global Civil Society partners. Help advance our priorities in international policy and drive our ENOUGH global campaign to end child hunger and malnutrition.
  • Spread the Word: Use your voice on social media platforms like X (formally Twitter) and YouTube to share advocacy messages and engage a global audience in our mission.
  • Collaborate and Learn: Support webinars, document mapping, and other initiatives that strengthen our partnerships and amplify our advocacy impact.
  • Stay Informed: Keep track of policy positions from UN Member States on key issues that affect children's rights and well-being.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating key events that promote external engagement and advocacy efforts.

What You Need to Know: Details
  • Internship Location: In-person from World Vision's New York Office.
  • Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Social Science, International Affairs, Journalism, Communications, or related fields.
  • Internship Cohort Dates: 27 January - 25 April.
  • Stipend: this internship is unpaid, but all US-based interns receive a monthly stipend of $800.
  • Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (20-40 hours/week)
Eligibility All candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa) and have a valid US Social Security Number.
  • Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the entire internship period: 27 January - 25 April.
  • Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years).
  • Adhere to World Vision International's Christian Statement of Faith.
  • Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
