The first of its kind in the nation, Center for Hope is a model for employing integrated programs and services designed to break the cycle of violence and its lifelong impact for victims of all races, ethnicities and religions, from the cradle to old age.

JOB SUMMARY:
  • The Resource Navigator develops and implements strategies to assist older adults to access their needs following referral to Center For Hope or the Elder Justice Multidisciplinary team or partner following an incident(s) of abuse or victimization.

    This role requires knowledge of community resources and continually updating awareness, new and diverse sources of support for older adults within LifeBridge Health as well as the Baltimore Metropolitan region. This will require research and investigation of organizations regarding their offerings and procedures to evaluate appropriate referrals for older adults served through the Elder Justice Program.

    The Resource Navigator will meet with older adults virtually and in person at Center for Hope and other agencies, depending on the client's needs, and will participate in the Multidisciplinary Team and other meetings as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field Associates Degree or higher in a human service field a plus

  • Working with older adults a plus

  • Microsoft Office Suite Basic computer skills Standard Office Equipment
  • Critical thinking skills
